Under the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Beijing Artists Management Corp., Ltd. (BJAMC for short) was founded in 1958. BJAMC operates over 600 shows and activities throughout the year, turning into the major culture and performance unit of Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. and ranks among hundred million yuan enterprises. Titles of BJAMC include: executive member of China Association of Performing Arts, general director of units of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Performing Arts Alliance, and president of units of Beijing Trade Association for Performances.
During the period of establishing in the past sixty-two years, BJAMC has participated in a lot of major state cultural events with its own professional planning, production and execution ability, such as the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Founding of New China, APEC Meeting in Beijing and Banquet Performance of ‘The Belt and Road’ Forum for International Cooperation, Asian Civilization Parade, a series of performances for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Founding of New China, and other major state cultural events. It received the social wide spread praise from all walks of life and honorary title of advanced collective in Beijing cultural work in 2014 and 2016.
During the 13th five-year plan period, within the steady development, BJAMC has produced numerous high quality brand events for audience, among which are: Beijing New Year’s Performance Series in the Great Hall of the People, Lao She Theater Festival, etc., and has produced over 10 original works including: Mr. Ma and Son, Lonely Warmth, Yun He 1935, Monster in the Forbidden City and so on.
In future, BJAMC will closely follow the spirit of 19th CPC National Congress, and the deploy and requirements of Beijing’s Urban Master Plan. BJAMC will further insist on its strategies, which are branding, specialization, industrialization, and internationalization, and insist on its business philosophy, which is, ‘the social benefit is the first and the economic benefit is the base’.
